MAI Delegation Paid a Working Visit to Yerevan
From May 20 to 21, the delegation of Moscow Aviation Institute visited Yerevan. The MAI delegation included: Rector of MAI Mikhail Pogosian, Director of the IT center of MAI Maria Bulakina, Head of the Avionics Integration Laboratory Dmitry Panyukov and Head of MAI Drone School Kirill Schukin. During the official visit, a meeting of MAI representatives with the leadership of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA), the innovation educational center Ayb and the Closed Joint-Stock Company Locator, which develops and implements monitoring systems, was held.MAI Rector Mikhail Pogosyan and NPUA Rector Vostanik Marukhyan visited the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) laboratory, discussed cooperation in the field of education and science, and also agreed to hold a joint scientific-practical conference with the working title "Artificial Intelligence and UAV Integration Issues" from October 14 to 15, 2019 .“The planned conference is devoted to the topic of practical application of artificial intelligence and unmanned technology, and will consist of four tracks: a scientific-methodical program, a business program, a school section and a student hackathon. Locator company will be the industrial partner of the conference,” - said Maria Bulakina, co-head of MAI working group.
