President of International Space University Gave a Lecture in MAI
On March 18, 2019, President of International Space University Juan de Dalmau gave a lecture in MAI.
International Space University (ISU), established in 1987, is located near Strasbourg, France. The ISU considered itself as an institution founded on the vision of a peaceful, prosperous and boundless future through the study, exploration and development of Space for the benefit of all humanity.
MAI has a rich history of relationships with the ISU: many MAI graduates continued their studies at the ISU; Professor Arthur Dula, who helped found the university and work closely with President Juan de Dalmau, gave a number of lectures for MAI students.
This time President of the ISU Juan de Dalmau came to MAI to meet with students and to tell them about his university, its programs and graduates. The main credo of the university is the unity of all mankind, which the President proved by showing the audience his badge, where under his name was written “from the planet Earth”. Communication with students was held in an open and friendly manner. The main thought that Juan de Dalmau delivered to the students was “the network is informal, but very powerful”. The university is very proud of its alumni network.
“The lecture was great! It was quite useful, the professor showed us how to apply to their programs, told about excellent alumni who graduated from the ISU. We really enjoyed it!”, - admitted Dai Sicheng, second-year student of MAI and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics joint Master’s degree program.
