Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) and the consortium “Airships of Yakutia” offer to use their experience, research and technological groundwork to solve the logistical problems of isolated and remote territories. The project has already received support from the government of the republic. It is planned that airships will carry people and cargo. EastRussia found out, if they will help the transport development of Yakutia.

Russian Team Led by MAI Student Won Innompic Games

On November 27-30, the III World Innompic Games were held in the Indian city of Ghaziabad. It is an intellectual olympiad for the creators of breakthrough science-based startups. The Russian team was led by Kirill Lakhminov, a second-year student of MAI School №3 “Control Systems, Computer Science and Power Engineering”. The team took three first places in the nominations “Best Team Performance”, “Best in Business Design”, “The Most Creative Team”.
