MAI at the All-Russian Science Festival NAUKA 0+

On October 11–13, the NAUKA 0+ science festival will be held in the Expocentre Fairgrounds (14, Krasnopresnenskaya nab., Moscow), in which Moscow Aviation Institute will take part. Guests of MAI stand will be able to fly on a flight simulator, learn all about 3D technologies, and also get acquainted with unique MAI developments, such as:

  • hexacopter "Kite-2" - an aircraft with six engines, which is not afraid of fire and water. It is able to deliver rescue equipment or cargo to the ship’s wreck or to a burning building;

  • layout Sukhoi Superjet 100 - designed using additive technology (3D printing), completely repeats the original;

  • demonstration cube with flying drones;

  • MAI developments in robotics based on Arduino (a family of programmable microcontrollers for easy creation of automation and robotics);

  • pathfinder - a small, self-contained drone to search for people missing in the forest. It is able to skillfully maneuver between trees and fly under their crowns.

Experts of MAI Technopark “Take-Off Trajectory” will hold exciting master classes at the festival in the following areas:

  • IT development;

  • 3D modeling;

  • robotics;

  • unmanned aerial vehicles.

Also, at the MAI stand it will be possible to get detailed information about admission to the leading high-tech university of Russia.
