Freshman of MAI won Miss Smile nomination in the IV International Open Student Beauty Contest

On May 17, the annual beauty contest, Miss International Students Association Moscow 2018, was held. This exciting event celebrating the beautiful half of the International Students took place at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow. 

The contest brought together more than a thousand international students receiving higher education in Russia. The beautiful students study at Moscow Aviation Institute, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow Technical University MIREA, National University of Science and Technology MISiS, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration RANEPA.

Seven contestants took part in the competition, representing not only their universities, but also their countries: Armenia, the Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Estonia, Republic of South Africa, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Switzerland, etc. MAI was represented by a charming freshman Ravan Abdiglani from Egypt. She studies at the Aircraft Engineering program. The young ladies showed not only their beauty, but also their talents, tolerance, respect, culture and the art of communication.

The long-awaited moment was the announcement of the contest results, and it was difficult to hold back the emotions. The International Student of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Biswas Anita (Bangladesh), became the first Miss International Students Association Moscow 2018. The second place went to the student from MIREA, representing Congo, and the third - to the student from MISiS, Corte Shakti from Switzerland.

The student of MAI, Ravan, received a no less important and sunny title – Miss Smile. Let's take up the lead of our Ravan and smile more often, because a smile reflects a smile and puts you in a good mood. And isn’t that what we need in our busy world!
