A new spin has been put on a partner project of Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research
University) together with the Indian agency, Space Kidz India that implements an international platform
for strengthening links among young scientists of different countries.
The Moscow Aviation Institute stand has attracted attention of several hundred thousand of guests at the International Aviation and Space Salon. During all six days of MAKS, Moscow Aviation Institute enjoyed exceptional popularity both among the visitors and the representatives from the industry.

On May 24th, 2017, a delegation from Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), headed by Mrs. Pogosyan Olga, Head of International Department, and Mr. Alexey Zarechenskiy, Deputy Head of International Projects, had a working meeting with Le Quy Don Technical University (LQDTU).

Moscow Aviation Institute initiated yet another successful cooperation
project with China – this time with a major aerospace corporation of China,
COMAC. Its engineers have just finished their studies on two MAI academic
programs – Composite Materials and Avionics Integrated. On April 7, the MAI Rector,
Mikhail Pogosyan, awarded the graduates with the certificates on their
successful completion of the program.
SHANGHAI Jiao Tong University signed an agreement with MAI o to jointly enroll and cultivate full-time Master’s degree program to serve the demand for top talents of aviation technologies both in China and Russia.
MAI team returned with brilliant results from the semi-finals of Imagine Cup – the annual worldwide series of technology competitions focused around Microsoft technology held at the Russian Microsoft office. MAI’s multimedia projects impressed the panel of judges and received second and third place and moved forward to the All-Russian stage of the competition.
Moscow Aviation Institute presented itself at the exhibition as part of the Russian national exposition at the International Engineering Sourcing Show of hi-tech products (IESS-2017) on March 16-18 in Chennai, India.
Russia and China are now working on a long-range wide-bodied aircraft. The unique machine was presented last November at the China Airshow 2016 exhibition. MAI joined Chinese COMAC and Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAK) as a consultant and supervisor from the Chinese side in a variety of engineering areas.
On March 3, the Second International Forum for commercial cosmonautics INSPACE FORUM 2017 was held at the Technopolis Congress Center (Moscow), and Mikhail Pogosyan, Rector of MAI, took part in the discussion.
